Official trailer of Battlefield 3 by EA and DICE on xbox 360 is available on youtube . Fans have seen the game run (gloriously, I might add) in PC format. They’ve also seen it fired up and running on the PlayStation 3. The 360? That’s been a mystery.
Someone took to a dev version of the game and leaked the low resolution captures of the Xbox 360 version of Battlefield 3 in action. They gave off a vibe of what the Xbox 360 edition is bringing to the table, but they certainly weren’t true representations of how the game will actually look and run on Microsoft‘s console.
Last Friday, officially, DICE and EA released more than one minute of in-game footage for the Xbox 360 version of Battlefield 3. You’ll find that above.
This was Executive Producer Patrick Bach:
“…I can promise you that the console versions will still look amazing because of the core technology. If you have a 360, we want to use that machine to the maximum.”
Alright then, you’ve seen it running in consoles officially from DICE and EA; what do you think? Of course, it’s not going to beat the fidelity, texture and lighting of the PC version, but how does it stand up graphically against other console shooters?
Battlefield 3 is set to release for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 25th of this year.
